AJK Prime Minister inaugurates Saudi Funded BHU HQ at Muzaffarabad

AJK Prime Minister Sardar Mohammad Yaqoob, Inaugurates Saudi funded BHU HQ at Muzaffarabad. Mr. Bandar Qublan Al-Ajmi (SPAPEV Representative) is also present here at Muzaffarabad.
Islamabad, Feb 11th, 2009: Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims has completed a Basic Health Units with technical assistance of UNICEF in Muzaffarabad.
The Basic Health Unit was inaugurated by Azad Jammu Kashmir Premier Sardar Yaqoob Khan on the other day.
The SPAPEV organization has released funds of 2 million US dollars to UNICEF for the construction of Five Basic Health Units (BHUs) to provide modern health facilities to the people of quake-hit areas.
The organization was established under the directives of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and is actively engaged in the reconstruction and rehabilitation activities in the affected areas of AJK and NWFP since October 8, 2005 earthquake.

SPAPEV handsover 4000 Pre-Fabricated Houses to the Govt of N.W.F.P.
 H.E. Ali Awadh Asseri, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan handing over the project shield of 4000 pre-fabricated houses to H.E. Awais Ahmad Ghani, Governor N.W.F.P in a ceremony in Islamabad.
Islamabad, July 7th, 2008: Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan earthquake Victims, a Saudi relief organization has completed 4000 houses worth 18.5 million US dollar to resettle the Balakot quake affectees.
Addressing a ceremony which organized to celebrate the completion of housing project, held here on Monday, Dr. Khalid M. Al-Othmani, the Regional Director, Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims, said that the houses have been handed over to families of Balakot displaced due to South Asian earthquake.
Besides others, Secretary General Engineer Fahad Al-Mubarak arrived here specially to hand over this huge project. Dr. Khalid M. Al- Othmani, the Regional Director of SPAPEV, thanked the chief guest of the event, H.E Owais Ahmed Ghani, the Governor of NWFP, Excellency, Ali Awadh Asseri, the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan and all the dignitaries for honoring us by their presence.
