WFP delegation meets SPAPEV Deputy Regional Director, thanks for assistance

Islamabad,   December 10^th, 2007:  A three member delegation of World Food Program (WFP) on Monday met with the Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims, Deputy Regional Director, Dr. Khalid M. Al-Othmani, here at the office and thanked him for monetary assistance.

The WFP was provided US 2 million dollar by the organization (SPAPEV) to purchase wheat (flour bags) for earthquake affected people of Pakistan.

SPAPEV hands over keys of pre-fabricated houses to Balakot earthquake victims

Islamabad,   November 22^nd, 2007:  Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims has handed over keys of pre-fabricated houses to Balakot earthquake victims who had been displaced by October 8, 2005 devastating tremor.

The Saudi Relief organization is actively engaged in the reconstruction and rehabilitation activities in the earthquake affected areas of AJK and NWFP soon after the establishment of the office here.

Islamabad,   November 3^rd, 2007:  Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims handovers 1.5m SR relief goods to DG IIRO for Baluchistan flood affectees in a ceremony held in Islamabad.

Deputy Regional Director, Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims (SPAPEV) handed over the documents of relief goods of worth 1.5 million Saudi Riyals to Director General International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) for distribution among Baluchistan flood affectees.

Saudi Org built 1800 pre-fabricated houses at Balakot; work on remaining 2200 underway

50,000 blankets, quilts being distributed among Oct. 8 affectees

Islamabad,   January 23^rd, 2007:  At least 50,000 blankets and same number of quilts are being distributed among quake affectees of October 8 devastated earthquake of Pakistan and the relief work in these areas would continue till their complete rehabilitation.

24-member team thanks Saudi Govt and SPAPEV for providing tickets, visas to perform Hajj

Saudi Arabia to provide 4000 pre-fabricated houses, contract sign

Islamabad,   October 12^nd, 2006:  Saudi Arabia will provide 4000 pre-fabricated houses to Pakistan and in this regard a contract has been signed here Thursday. Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims (SPAPEV) a Saudi Arabia based organization signed a contract with local companies here at simple ceremony held at Marriot hotel hall.

SPAPEV distributes food items among 150 quake affected families

Islamabad,   May 3^rd, 2006:  A Saudi Arabia based relief  Organization  “Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims” (SPAPEV) distributed  food packets containing rice, sugar, pulses, ghee and other necessary daily use items among 150 quake affected families who had been residing temporarily in the camps provided by Al Khubaib Foundation.
